Learn More About our MissionÂ
I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, with work spanning school settings, community mental health, managed care organizations, and private practice.
Throughout my journey in this field, one question has continually stood out: Where is the support for beginning therapists? Who is helping new clinicians find supervisors who truly have their best interests at heart?
Over the years, I have heard countless stories from associate-level therapists about supervisors not showing up consistently, failing to document hours properly, lacking understanding of licensure systems, being unavailable to supervisees, and many other concerns.
When graduate students and beginning therapists are not connected with strong, supportive supervision, the effects can be detrimental—not only for the clinician, but also for the clients they serve. This contributes to a mental health system that often feels overwhelmed and disconnected.
My mission is to stand in the gap for beginning therapists by creating a trusted place where clinicians can find the support system they need after graduate school. When therapists receive the right guidance and support, both the clinician and the client benefit. In turn, this strengthens the mental health field and the communities we serve.
